Website use
This website is operated by Armour Transport Limited. By using it you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse it. The content is provided for general information about our services; while we keep it accurate and up to date, we give no warranty that it is complete or error-free, and details such as lead times are indicative and subject to confirmation when you book.
Quotes and bookings
A quote request submitted through this site is an enquiry, not a booking. Any quote we provide is subject to confirmation, vehicle and slot availability, and the trading conditions below. A contract is formed only when we accept your booking. Quotes are priced on the details given to us at the time and may be revised if those details change.
Information you give us
Container haulage depends on accurate booking details, so you are responsible for the information you give us. That includes the gross weight and the contents of the container, whether the goods are hazardous or need temperature control, the correct release, collection or booking references for the port, terminal or depot, and accurate access details for the collection and delivery points — including any limits on vehicle size, turning space, or timed entry. Please tell us as soon as possible if anything changes. Where details are wrong or incomplete and a job is delayed, aborted or has to be re-planned as a result, or the load cannot lawfully be carried as presented, we are not responsible for the delay and the additional cost may be passed on to you.
Conditions of carriage
Haulage services are provided under our standard trading conditions. As an RHA member, we contract on the Road Haulage Association (RHA) Conditions of Carriage (current edition), which govern matters including our liability for goods in our care, how claims are notified and the time limits that apply to them. A copy is available on request before you book.
Intellectual property
The Armour Transport name, logo, and the content and design of this site are owned by Armour Transport Limited or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this website. Liability in respect of the carriage of goods is governed by the conditions of carriage referred to above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
